The Hymn, "All Mankind Fell in Adam's Fall" was written by Lazarus Spengler, who also happens to be the person who first designed and drew "Luther's Rose." This hymn, a classic treasure from the Reformation, helps us understand Paul's comparing and contrasting of Adam and Jesus in Romans 5:12-19. Many people have argued over the meaning of its passage, but as Lutherans, we're blessed to be able to understand its portrayal of the amazing gift of God's grace in Jesus Christ and how in Jesus, life now reigns, rather than death.
